Why we take this seriously

A title status tells you almost nothing about repair quality.

A branded title tells you a vehicle was rebuilt after significant damage. It does not tell you whether the repair was done right — and on a rebuilt vehicle, that difference can be worth thousands and affect how safe the vehicle actually is.

That is the whole point of a focused rebuilt-title inspection: a history report cannot crawl underneath the vehicle and evaluate the repair. We can. We will not promise perfection — no honest inspector can — but we will tell you far more than a title status ever will.

What we focus on

The areas that actually matter on a rebuilt vehicle

A rebuilt-title inspection isn't a different price — it's the same $199 inspection with extra attention on the things a rebuild puts at risk.

Structural & frame repair

The single most important area on a rebuilt vehicle. We inspect the visible frame rails, structural areas, and repair evidence we can access — welds, deformation, corrosion, and signs of prior structural repair — the things a title status and a history report can't tell you. We don't perform frame-machine measurement or structural certification.

Airbags & safety systems

After a significant collision, airbags and SRS components should have been properly replaced. We scan for SRS/airbag faults and look for signs that safety systems were skipped or improperly reset.

Repair quality & panel work

Overspray, mismatched panels, body filler, and rushed bodywork tell a story. We evaluate how the repair was actually done — not just that it was done.

Flood & electrical clues

Some salvage vehicles were water-damaged. We look for corrosion in connectors, moisture evidence, and electrical gremlins that point to a flood past.

Full diagnostic scan

A full-system scan (where supported) surfaces stored faults across modules — useful on a vehicle that's been apart and put back together.

How it drives now

A road test (where conditions permit) checks that the rebuild drives straight and true, with no pulling, odd noises, or drivetrain issues.

Questions

Rebuilt & salvage title inspections

Is a rebuilt title vehicle a bad idea?

Not automatically. A well-repaired rebuilt vehicle can be a genuine value, which is why buyers consider them. The problem is that title status alone tells you nothing about repair quality. An independent inspection focused on the structural repair is how you tell a good rebuild from a bad one.

Can an inspection guarantee a rebuilt vehicle is safe?

No inspection can guarantee that, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can do is physically evaluate the repair areas we can access, scan the safety systems, and give you a clear, honest read on the risk — dramatically more than a title or history report tells you.

Why does a rebuilt title matter for resale and insurance?

Rebuilt/branded titles typically carry lower resale value and can affect financing and insurance options. That's part of the value conversation. We give you condition and market context so you can weigh the price against the trade-offs.

Do you inspect rebuilt vehicles across Northern Utah?

Yes — anywhere in our service area from Brigham City to North Salt Lake. We come to the vehicle. Weekday evening and Saturday appointments are available.
