Frame & structural damage
A history report can't crawl under the truck. We physically inspect frame rails and the undercarriage for corrosion, past collision repair, and structural issues a test drive will never reveal.
Your friend under the hood.
Before you hand over your money on a used car, truck, or SUV, we inspect it — independently, on your side. We tell you what's wrong, what it's likely to cost, and whether you should buy. Finally, someone who knows cars is looking out for you.
Serving Northern Utah from Brigham City to North Salt Lake — across Box Elder, Weber, and Davis Counties.

Used vehicles are hard to read — even for experienced buyers. Here's the kind of thing an independent inspection is built to catch before it becomes your problem.

A history report can't crawl under the truck. We physically inspect frame rails and the undercarriage for corrosion, past collision repair, and structural issues a test drive will never reveal.

Fresh oil, a clean detail, and "runs great" can hide a lot. We look at how it actually runs, check for leaks, and scan for stored and pending fault codes across the vehicle's systems.

Brakes near the limit, aged tires, overdue services — none of it shows on a test drive, all of it becomes your bill the moment you sign. We flag what's due and what it's likely to cost.

A single hidden repair can cost thousands. We give you repair-cost and market context so you walk into the negotiation knowing what the vehicle is really worth.
No tiers, no premium package, no confusing upsells. The same comprehensive inspection on every vehicle — cars, trucks, and diesels.
How the engine and transmission actually run — not just how they sound in a parking lot.
The quiet problems that turn into big bills — spotted before they're yours.
Whether it drives tight and straight, or hides worn parts and past impacts.
Brake pad and rotor condition, including remaining material where visible and measurable.
Tread, age, and damage — often a hidden four-figure surprise.
We physically get under the vehicle — where a history report can't go.
Panel work, overspray, and repairs a good detailer knows how to hide.
The features you're paying for — confirmed to actually work.
An inspection reflects the observable, testable condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. Not every vehicle supports every diagnostic function, and not every component can be accessed. No inspection can guarantee the discovery of every hidden problem — but an independent expert on your side dramatically improves what you know before you buy.
We come to the vehicle — a private seller's driveway or a dealer lot. You don't even have to be there.
Tell us the vehicle and where it is. You arrange access with the seller — we handle everything from there. Have one on the line? Call or text and we'll tell you the soonest we can get to it.
We travel to the car — private driveway or dealer lot. Full multi-point inspection, undercarriage and frame, OBD/full-system scan where supported, and a road test when conditions permit. Photos throughout.
A detailed report with photos of every finding, repair-cost context where we can estimate it, market/value context, and a clear Buy / Caution / Walk Away verdict — plus a call to walk you through it.
Weekday evening and Saturday appointments are available. Same-day appointments may be available depending on schedule and location.
Other inspections hand you a list of boxes. We hand you a decision: what we found, photos of it, what it's likely to cost, and a clear Buy / Caution / Walk Away recommendation.

An inspection is only as good as whose interests it serves. Here's why buyers choose an independent one.
A shop that profits from repairs has a reason to find problems. We repair nothing — so our only job is telling you the truth about the vehicle, whether that's buy it or walk away.
Your inspection is handled by the same experienced person, here in Northern Utah — not dispatched through a rotating national contractor network. Real accountability, on your schedule.
You don't get a stack of checkmarks to decode. You get a clear Buy / Caution / Walk Away call with repair-cost and value context — a decision you can actually act on.
Independent, buyer-first inspections — $199 flat, one price for every vehicle.

You can review the listing, read the history report, and take a good test drive, and a vehicle can still be hiding something that only shows up once the money has changed hands.
A vehicle-history report can't crawl underneath the truck. We can. That gap — between what's been reported and what's actuallythere — is exactly why Auto Ally exists: to put a knowledgeable, independent person underneath the vehicle, on the buyer's side, before the money changes hands.
More about Auto AllyA Vehicle History Review is supporting evidence. The physical inspection is the product.
Tells you what's been reported — title events, some accidents, service records that made it into the system. Genuinely useful context, and we review it using available legitimate sources. But it depends entirely on what got reported.
History reports tell you what's been reported.
Tells you what's actually in front of you — right now, on this vehicle. We get underneath it, scan its computers, and drive it. No report can do that from a database.
Auto Ally helps determine what's actually there.

No. Many of our customers are buying from a distance or can't get away from work. You arrange access with the seller, we go to the vehicle, and we walk you through everything on a debrief call afterward.
A dealer can, but a reasonable seller usually won't — an independent inspection is a normal part of buying a used vehicle. If a seller flatly refuses to allow any inspection, that itself is useful information worth thinking hard about. We work with both private sellers and dealerships.
A history report tells you what has been reported to it — title events, some accidents, service records that made it into the system. It can't crawl under the truck, scan the computers, or drive the car. We do. We use a Vehicle History Review as supporting evidence, then physically inspect what's actually in front of you.
You get the full picture: what we found, photos of it, repair-cost context where we can reasonably estimate it, and a clear Buy / Caution / Walk Away recommendation. Sometimes that means negotiating a fair price with real leverage. Sometimes it means walking away from a bad one — which can be the most valuable outcome of all.
Plan for roughly 60–90 minutes on-site depending on the vehicle and access, plus the time to prepare your report. You'll typically have your digital report and debrief shortly after.
Weekday evening and Saturday appointments are available. Same-day service is subject to availability. If you have a vehicle on the line and need to move quickly, call or text 385-256-0254 and we'll tell you the soonest available appointment.
